£7,950.00

Framed paper sweet pea artwork titled ‘Strong Entanglement

Dimensions are 103 x 83 x 7cm including frame

This is a completely unique artwork and would be a stunning addition to a contemporary space. Given it’s size, it would be wonderful focal point to an interior.

In a bespoke, professionally made dark grey frame with UV protectant archive glass that reduces reflections and sunlight on the piece along with brightening the colours. Archival light grey mount board has also been used.

Signed on the bottom right hand corner and also signed and titled on the back.

This was shown as part of my collection ‘Fragile Strength’ at Craftworks, Shoreditch Town Hall during London Craft Week. It was also featured in the September 2024 issue of Gardens Illustrated.

This piece portrays the chaotic wildness of the sweet pea flower in all it’s intricacies and complexities. It also reflects on nature’s ability to overwhelm and emotions of respect and wonder.

Materials used: fine crepe paper, rice paper, floral wire, archival glue, acrylic paint, watercolour pencil. All materials are lightfast and archival to ensure the piece will last, however it is still best to keep the piece out of direct sunlight, heat and moisture.

PLEASE NOTE - Delivery within England, Scotland and Wales is included in the price and any automatic delivery charges on your transaction will be refunded.

If you are outside of these areas please do contact me before purchasing to discuss shipping/delivery options. Collection is available from my home in Hove, UK.
