Framed paper cowslip artwork titled ‘Each Petal Shone’ 2024. This piece highlights the beautiful fragile strength of the cowslip flower. Exaggerated, long stems and oversized flowers reach for the top of the frame, alongside the striking shapes of the bud clusters.

Dimensions are 63 x 48 x 7cm including frame

This is a completely unique artwork and would be a stunning addition to a space

In a bespoke, professionally made dark grey frame with UV protectant archive glass that reduces reflections and sunlight on the piece along with brightening the colours.

Signed on the bottom right hand corner and also signed and titled on the back. Artwork is mounted on archival light grey mount board.

This was shown as part of my collection ‘Fragile Strength’ at Craftworks, Shoreditch Town Hall during London Craft Week.

Materials used: fine crepe paper, floral wire, archival glue, watercolour ink, acrylic paint. All materials are lightfast and archival to ensure the piece will last, however it is still best to keep the piece out of direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
