Paper Christmas Decorations

Happy New Year and I hope you had a great festive period. I thought I would start the new year by sharing some photos of the paper Christmas decorations I made over the last few months.

I got the idea for making strawberries from seeing a festive photograph on the Instagram feed of florists Swallows and Damsons. They featured some beautiful light pink and white strawberries that seemed perfect to make for Christmas.

This year, I’m going to change the way I sell flowers online, moving away from making flowers to order and instead spending time making flowers over a month or so and then selling them in limited numbers in one go. I feel this will give me more time to experiment and more freedom to focus on new pieces and projects.

I’ve also updated this site with a new email newsletter sign up form in the footer of each page, so you can keep up to date with new workshop dates and events. I’m also sharing a paper flower making tip in each newsletter so if you would like to sign up, the form is at the bottom of each of my web pages.

Hope you have an amazing 2017!

So happy to receive this email today – the first since I started following you!
I look forward to future posts, and hope that when I am next in the uK I will be able to attend one of your workshops.

Thank you so much for leaving such a lovely comment Janet! Look forward to meeting you at a workshop one day and hope you have a very happy new year x

  2. I would just like to congratulate you on your beautiful Christmas Fuchsia, cactus and strawberry paper plants and flowers, you are very talented. I used to teach paper-making skills and I often taught paper flower-making, but nothing as beautiful as yours. I love reading your blog, so thanks for sharing.
I wish you a Happy New Year in 2017.
    Best wishes, Viv
